The two most common ways to ship construction and agricultural equipment overseas are Roll On / Roll Off and Containerized shipping. Roll On / Roll Off shipping is when the unit is driven or towed onto a specialized vessel for transporting self-propelled cargo using the RoRo vessel’s built-in ramp. RoRo prices are based upon the cargo’s overall volume and weight. If the unit is tracked instead of wheeled (Like a Kobelco LC210), there is also usually an extra charge. Depending on your destination, shipment of a large unit can easily cost over $10,000.00, but K International Transport can help you cut that in half by containerizing your unit.
